Join the Board or a Committee!
Have you ever considered being on the Board or on a Committee? This is your opportunity to be an active member in the community and serve in a position where you can make a positive difference for our neighborhood. At our Annual Meeting we will be electing nominations for Officer and Committee roles. Below is a brief explanation of the roles, some a little dry because they are directly from our governing documents. If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to reach out to any of the current Board or Committee members.

Board of Directors
The Association's affairs shall be governed by a Board of Directors. Each director shall have one vote. Directors need not be Members or residents of the Community. A director must be at least 18 years old. In the case of a Member who is not an individual, any officer, director, partner, or trust officer of such Member shall be eligible to serve as a director unless otherwise specified by written notice to the Association signed by such Member; provided, no member may have more than one such representative on the board at a time, except in the case of directors the Class "B" Member appoints.
Officers
The Association's officers shall be a President, Vice President, Secretary, and Treasurer. The officers may, but need not, be Board members, Owners, or residents of the Community. The Board may appoint such other officers, including one or more Assistant Secretaries and one or more Assistant Treasures, as it shall deem desirable, such officers to have such authority and perform such duties as the Board prescribes. Any two or more offices may be held by the same person, except the offices of President and Secretary.
Covenants Committee
Consisting of at least three members, the Covenants Committee shall be the Association's hearing tribunal and shall conduct all hearings.
Finance Committee
Assist the Board, the Treasurer and the Association's managing agent in preparing the Association's budget.
Physical Maintenance Committee (Landscaping Committee)
Preside over maintenance of the Common Maintenance Areas. Specifically:
Dispute Resolution Committee
Mediate disputes concerning the interpretation of Use Restrictions, rules and other Governing Document provisions and advise the Board on initiating litigation involving the Association.

- Walk the community once a week, send yard violations to CSI to send out notices after the 2nd week of violation
- Head up "community yard days" where homeowners volunteer their time to clean up common spaces/plant flowers
- Clarification of expectations to landscape company, compliance with contract
- Yard of the month awards

Social Committee
- Stick to budget set by the BOD
- Schedule quarterly or monthly neighborhood gatherings
- Welcome packets for new neighbors
- Neighborhood directory
Pool Committee
- Ensures pool company is maintaining pool to correct standards
- Ensures rules such as no glass are being followed
- Ensures umbrellas are down in the evenings and before storms
